Hobnob Inn By P. Logan Anderson

previous Funnies next

Official Home Page  My earliest memories of drawing are when I would decorate the envelopes of letters I would send to my girlfriend from military school. She must have liked them because we are now married and have two children. My sister claims that I've been cartooning for as long as she can remember. I suppose that's true. However, I didn't become serious about developing a comic feature until 1986. Hobnob Inn is one of three different features that I have produced over the past 10 years. It is also by far, the most successful. Producing a cartoon strip allows me to express my creativity in a number of ways. It isn't simply a matter of art. It goes well beyond that. In this medium I am able to comment on the current events of the day, even throwing in an opinion once in a while. In no other forum can one express both in art and ideas, the absurdities of the human condition. It is a constant reminder that the world of ideas is as mysterious as it is infinite. Anyway, since I've started cartooning, I don't hear those voices in my head.    -Paige
